guide to playing online poker for fun or for real money, there
are lots of web sites that offer online poker and they include:
Poker is one of the most popular card games and is played in casinos
and peoples homes all over the world, the Internet has revolutionised
the poker game though as you can now play poker online, this is
much easier than playing traditional poker games as you do not
have to use real cards and chips and online poker is virtual,
you do not have to leave the house and you do not have to find
opponents, there are thousands of people playing online poker
at any one time.
Playing poker online is also great as lots of the online casinos
have some excellent offers to get you started, they offer sign
up bonuses which can greatly increase your initial deposit. Most
online casinos also allow you to play poker games for free so
that you can learn how to play online properly without risking
any money, the real fun comes when you face real opponents though
and as you have been given a huge sign up bonus which is basically
free money it is not so bad if you lose some of it while you get
used to playing online against real opponents.
The game of poker is quite complex, the basic way that poker works
is that the cards have values with high cards winning but when
cards are combined with similar cards then their value increases
greatly. For example you can have a pair which is any two cards
of the same type, such as Queens or Three's. A pair will beat
any single card, even if the single card is much higher than the
value of the pair's. If more than one player has a pair then the
value of the pair will win, you can also get a two pair which
is a set of two pairs and also three of a kind which is three
cards of the same value. There are then combinations of cards
that are very valuable and they include the Straight, Flush, Full
House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush and Royal Flush, they are
listed here in order of strength so the Royal Flush is the strongest
hand possible in poker and the single cards being the weakest
poker hand.
